Egypt
Ancient
Egypt's history spans about MMD
years. Modern scholars have categorised this history into
'dynasties' (a collection of people belonging to the
same family who maintain power) & labeled each dynasty
with a roman numeral from I

BCE
In
3100 BCE King Menes of Upper Egypt united Upper & Lower
Egypt and he founded the first Egyptian dynasty.
Dynasty III - arose
around 2 700 BCE and ushered in the period refered to as
'The Old Kingdom'. The Sphinx and The Pyramids at Giza were
built during this era.
Tutankhamen

His tomb was found in MCMXXII
